I just came back from the unveiling of my grandmother's tombstone.
Just back from a super weekend in Cape Breton's National Park. Some beautiful sites and a very nail biting drive drive with the camper over Cape Smokey!! I googled an image so you can see the road we traveled :zip:

its so gooddd and i can tell the stuff i am eating!
My brother was in a driving accident.
He is fine , although shaken up. but the car is wrecked.
Went to the animal shelter last week. Saw this one, loved him. He is big though a teddy bear. All the family loves him, wants to bring him home. I have been 3 times in the last week to see him. DH and I are hesitating because of the lifestyle change it involves. We have a lot going on. My instincts are a little fuzzy on this one. 80/20 to go for it DH not sure.

aw patty he is adorable!
Aww Patty he is soo cute!
Definitely take the time you need to decide, a dog is a big commitment, you have to consider everything.
Im sure he'd make a great family member.
Andi when I was at the shelter he was afraid of the cats so I am guessing he has had the old claw in the muzzle. LOL I am not too worried about that. He is 90 lbs right now very thin so I am guessing another 20lbs to bring him up to healthy weigh. He is not neutered which leads me to believe he will be even calmer once done. I walked him no problem, Kevin and Larry also. He has a lot of training he is also house broken. The shelter says the people who brought him in found him wandering. May be true he smells of skunk or they could have lied and just dumped him there. He sits gives a paw. He is 3 years old. Even my dad says it would be good for protection and company for them also during the day. He is willing to take part and look after him too.
I also took Kiera with me alone one time to see how he would be. I made her run back and forth in front of him and she even came from far away ran right up to his face and he just licked her. No stalking or preying.
They say he is part malamute part Bouvier.
aweee Patty hes cute!! I am waiting till next year to get a westie
