Fresh fruit off the trees is the best! I am not sure the variety of the plums but about all they are good for is eating fresh and making jam. This is that first time I got them from my aunts tree! They were all falling so I only got a couple 3 gallon buckets. I also have a 2 milk crates a cooler and a couple buckets of apples to can.

My mom makes plum,grape and apple jelly every year.100% Cape Breton grown:)

Yum! I would love to have some grapes to make jelly. I make apple jelly every year. This year I have also made canned apples.

I have to make beets this year. We ran out. I also have to check how many jars of tomatoes I have left. I did 5 bushels last year and I think I am almost out.

My aunt on the left she is now 87 and my cousin on the right, she passed away a few years ago of lung cancer, this was on a cruise to Bermuda when I was 10 or 11 I think.
