Good morning! Sunny but a bit cool for July (it was warmer in May).
Preparing for the heat wave which they are promising for the next few days. How come it's cold Andi you should be getting that heat wave before us?

Hopefully this afternoon we'll warm up. But when I took the dog out around 7am. I was happy I had pants & a light sweater on (anything less & I would have been shivering).Quote:

Oy, those of you who love heat should have my husband! The dude doesn't even break a sweat. And here I am, we have no a/c, so there are fans in each room, and a little one above the computer because of its location -- but he would be happy with no fans and high 30s temps. I don't know how the two of us have made it these past 20+ years - in winter when he wants it warmer, that's fine because I just wear shorts and tanktops - but I tell him in summer and it's hot - I can't take off any more!

No fan. I have central air & I do have a dehumidifier (I use it when I do laundry to take excess moisture out of the air). I just keep my window (yes, I only have one, but it's a fair size) with open. Oh & I put something in front of my front door to keep the cold air from the hallway from coming in.Quote:
