Aw, Vee, sorry you're sick and I sure hope you are better soon. I was 'lucky' and had only a one-day horrid sicky day - but I don't feel quite like myself.
But gee, yesterday my son was just heading out to do shopping in the afternoon, said he got dizzy driving so came right home - and hurled and hurled.... oh, I felt just the same awful feeling inside me as when he was a little boy and sick, but he's almost 19 and he didn't exactly want me in the bathroom with him holding his head.... But he had a sleep, no other symptoms, ate something later, and today he feels fine. So just a 'day' bug, odd... There are a lot of sickies around, at the guys' work, and amongst my extended family here.
Argh so many people are sick. It always happens this time of year when school gets back and all the close contact. Stuff spreads like wildfire through the schools. Last week when I took Kiera to ER for her eye every other kid there was sitting with a bucket in front of them and I thought oh joy 7 days incubation period and poof we can expect this next week. Sure enough my dad got it and I got a mild cold. Kiera had a slight fever but she recovers within hours.
Patty, how's Keira's eye? I hope it healed up.
Energy where are you?? I need ya here!!

Another example of they grow up so fast.
My cousin's daughter is about to be bat mitzva in november. I remember when she was a small baby that could sleep on a pillow as if that was her bed. Bli ayin hara, she has grown up into a wonderful person.
