Yesterday I ran in to Zellers at about 4:45 for a last minute thing before they closed and the guy in front of me SCOPed a movie. He knew exactly what he was doing too and the girl at the cash was not too bad either. Hey like I said to him it's not our fault they can't keep their pricing system up to date.

This may sound cruel or heartless to say but I wasnt sad at all to hear about him dying and wont shed any tears for him. A self hating jew till the bitter end, he spent his last months trying to get the hillel chapter atmy university removed by arguing they were political activists for Iisrael and had no place on campus, which was bull when you look at any other student group. He said in class one time that if he was ever in a jewish home, he would switch the dishes used for meat and the dishes used for dairy, without the owners knowing, simply to cause harm.
He was an asshole through and through.http://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-...stRecentReview

Not everyone embraces religion Gryphon, nor should they. He acted this way because he came to his own conclusions about his religion.
As for switching the dishes though that's just dumb although no harm is done, physically, it is an insult to those who follow those rules.

It wasnt just that he had rejected Judaism. He flat out tried to make it hard for jews. But more than just to do with Judaism, he was an asshole who frequently threatened to sue people if they criticized him and had several lawsuits dismissed as being without Merit. In his classes......I was scared. He came off as nuts. His ideas, and theories. He was a paranoid man with delusions of grandeur. I cant say anything else. He believed everyone was out to get him, and frequently lied to students about what was going on. I know he lied about some situations because I read up about what was going on and what he said didnt ring true. mHe also encouraged his students to go and jeer at a university official while she made a speech. He made a weak excuse why he couldnt while the reality was that while he wanted to harrass like he told his students to, he didnt want to give ammo to the university whom he was currently suing.

Just goes to show you once they get tenure it's almost impossible to get rid of them. I've heard stories similar to yours Gryphon about some profs. here. Makes you wonder if the job attracts that kind of wacko or if the job turns them into wackos.
