Could not resist - went back to RCSS....those free juice boxes amaze me!!! lus had to get in on the Quaker MI - after rebates and cereal Box fpc's redeemed, I got $130 for $15.Also got a duster to try!!! They have a Do not order on the long handled dusters though. :( - but they had out some new ones.....9.98 :( . would not mind the long handles ones to reach my new 70% off chandaliers!!!
spent the day cleaning my house and i'm still not done just ran out of energy
house cleaning is over rated!!! I was doing that yesterday so went to RCSS today....the cleaning marathon shall contiune tonight or tomorrow!!! I donated antoher 5 garbage bags to charity as well as dropped up my dontaion to the foodbank. I was glad to hear that they like getting small toys (I had a bunch of unopened odds and ends). I dropped off 6 bags with a little bit of everything!!! Felt good to get rid of stuff and know that it would be for a good cause.
So thrilled the hockey season is over. Now here is the big question...sign the kid up for soccer, or no?
Robyn, depends upon your child, and if s/he has other activities on the go.
Soccer is a great sport for kids!
May depend, too, on how many times a week they have practice and/or games...
Woohoo!!! Concert tonight with 15 (hopefully!) SCers attending! If you read about a happy group rioting at a club in Toronto, it just might be us. :P
Andi, that sounds like a blast! So cool that you are having a get-together! :)
He doesn't have any other activities, just kindergarten 3 days a week. Hockey was two practices and a game per week, so I don't think we'll have commitment issues, I'm not sure how many practices they are doing though. I think they just run to the end of the school year too, so summer will be free for him.
Soccer in our town is MUCH more laid back than the hockey culture.
He has some learning and developmental delays, and I think being able to socialize with a greater variety of kids, in a variety of situations is a benefit to him.
This is our fifth one this year (I've made it out to 3). The local radio station sponsors concerts & they are generous enough to hand out tix to other concerts (older bands that appeal to our, um, demographic :P). We all met on the radio loyalty club thread.
There are a couple of people I've been chatting with online for a year that I will finally get to meet! Sooo excited. :excited:
Concert was fun! Even better, I got to meet an SCer I've been chatting with for a year!
Even better, the radio station gave us tix for another concert in a couple of weeks, so we'll have another get-together! :)
another sunny day, I can hardly stand it lol
That's great Patty! Us, too - we made it to 10 degrees yesterday, so hoping for that today as well! :)
