Our farms here have recently started scheduling picking dates and times...my DH and I want to get out there...well, it was supposed to be this week but it's going by so quickly!

Lynn I posted the recipe on your wall before i read it here. lol The jars are regular mason jars and I buy the plastic lids seperately. You can get them at Walmart. I like them because you don't have to replace the middle part like with the regular one.

Awesome! I just finished a little jar of my red wine jelly and it always breaks my heart to toss out that metal lid part...I'll look for those plastic lids...are they in the same section as all the other canning stuff?

Yup the lids are all there with the boxes of jars.

Kevin found a rabbit yesterday, wandering around on someones front yard, brought it here, of course, took it to the SPCA and they will foster it and put it up for adoption. It was only 4 months old and had no fur on its feet or legs. Someone must have had it in a small cage and it was probably sitting in it's own crud and the fur fell off. Anyhoo moving day was July 1st and they probably let it go outside. Gotta love Quebec for being the cruelest province, king of the puppy mills and abandoned pets. Bravo Quebec.

Well this little rabbit will at least have a second chance. Kiera named him Fuzzy so they put that on his adoption paper.

Finished fixing up a garden and a path yesterday. I am aching all over.
