I'm trying to picture Mary Poppins skating around the Robson Square rink poking people in the eyes with her umbrella points... and then Mario comes by and does a triple lutz and a couple of Mazurkas and Russian Splits and causes Mary Poppins to fall down... Mario stops and tries to help her up but her long dress gets caught in Marios sequins and in the struggle to get separated the dress comes off and then Mario carries on with his routine with Mary Poppins dress flapping all around, which is kind of unflattering so he ties it up on his head like Carmen Meranda just as the music switches to a rap song... at which point the dressless Mary Poppins joins him for a side by side break dance demo centre ice and brings the house down with strobe lights and confetti.... and Robson Street will never be the same again.

Nice to see you're still keeping banker's hours, Trucks.
Sounds like you're having fun.
Meant to tape one movie the other night & got a whole other story instead, so watching M Butterfly. Still can't figure out how someone didn't realize (for 20 yrs!) that the person they're dating is a different gender from what they thought. Sheesh, I'm a spinster & can figure out what parts to look for.Last edited by Andit; Sun, Jan 3rd, 2010 at 06:54 AM.

Off to visit a friend & do some shopping on the way home. Tempted to cancel & go back to bed, but figure once I'm out, the cold air should wake me up.

At the right time, a kind word from a stranger, or encouragement from a friend, can make all the difference in the world. Kindness is free, but it's priceless. ~ Doe Zantamata
