Thanks for the sunshine !!

It's going to be a cold day for the Olympic torch today when it arrives in Thunder Bay. We have windchills of -32 and the torch doesn't arrive until the evening, so it will probably be even colder. Can it ever be too cold for fireworks?

The torch will also be making a stop at the Terry Fox monument, to pay homage to a great Canadian who's dream was cut short, but his legacy will live on forever.

Wow lots of snow.

I don't feel guilty about spending too much time on SC today... I can justify it by telling myself that it's only between loads of laundry, lol

Oh boy already up to my twits in 2010 coupons. Been organizing them for about 2 hours now. How did I get so many , so fast?

(freaky, I typed out my answer, hit reply, then my computer just said 'done' and it was. Had to restart, sheesh! This sucker is on its last legs....)

Anyway, Patty, I was wondering do you get so many because you just pick up any/all you find when you are out shopping? I find that if I just pick up the ones I know I'll be using within the next little while, then I don't have too many at once to deal with.

I wonder if a lot of us are thinking it might be something with OUR computers... or is it Smartcanucks website? I continue to have missing words, sentences, typos etc. I'm doing a lot of editing to get my posts right. :icon_scratch:

Well, there is this one IGA that I go to just to collect coupons because they seem to get everything. I can come away with 20 or more in one shot. So even if you take 5 of each that's a hundred from one place. Lately there have been many booklets and I just finished cutting them up, about 5 of them with 6 - 8 coupons in each so it makes for a lot.

I was also picking up a lot for the hamper train before xmas and now I have too many of some(because some she could not use or didn't have enough different ones to stack). I actually use quite a variety of different coupons and I'm definitely not brand loyal. The ones from the booklets that I don't use I will give away. Those baking booklets from Smuckers have about 12 in each.

Making puree from frozen strawberries to flavour my cottage cheese & yogurt. Dog is thrilled to be helping, cat is annoyed cause he got splattered. By accident, of course. :P

Just shoveled again! Oh well, it's good exercise and it's really nice out only -3 and no wind.

i am super sleepy and i havent even had dinner yet
..maybe i will dream about dinner, that should do it.

Was so busy making the strawberry puree, I forgot to have dinner. Got hungry, so I had the puree with cottage cheese with crackers. Just realized that was my dinner. :-~ Think I need a nap before bedtime or who knows whether I'll remember to wear my pjs. :P
