It's so touch and go for older people. My mom pivoted in one spot and her hip bone just broke and she fell. Hope your grandma's o.k.

I actually also have an accident report. When I opened the freezer to get the fries a 3lb chunk of hamburger fell on my foot. It's pretty sore right now. lol

update: she seems fine. no signs of bruising but she mentions feeling a little sick and dizzy

Maybe she's just a little bit in shock from falling. It's scary for an older person but if she hit her head and feels sick and dizzy that's a different story.

If she hit her head, you might want to make sure she stays awake for the next couple of hours. Just in case she has a concussion.

i checked with her and she said she didnt hit her head

Gryphon - glad she didn't hit her head & that she's Ok.

Patty - I've done that & worse. One day I opened the freezer & a yogurt cup fell to the floor. I bent over to pick it up & got bopped on the head by another yogurt. :rolleyes: The dog was thrilled, she thought it was raining yogurt just for her. :lolsign:

my mom is still concerned for my grandmother though. im gonna keep watch just in case

Watching Love Letters on CBC. Saw the play twice on stage (2 different versions, once with young actors, once with older actors). Interesting interpretation. I'm really enjoying myself, even if I'm not a CBC kinda gal. :)
