The first & LAST (!) time I went camping, I had to lie on the cold bumpy ground in a sleeping bag, far from the campfire (the camp counsellors were hogging the warm spots). I fell asleep sometime after 2am, when the last of the off-key singing finally stopped, only to be awakened an hour or so later by a frog jumping on my stomache. :yikes:Quote:

I agree about the motel, Andit -- my son, who is 18, is wanting to try camping this summer with friends. I said, sure, with my blessing - you really don't know what you are in for, you pampered dude!!! LOL!
my dh wants me to go camping no way i say i'll go sauble beach annd sleep in a trailer but no tent for me all that dirt no thank you
