When it comes to people like that I always ask myself the same questions. Would you want to be in their skin? Most times the answer is no and then I ask myself can I sleep at night and have a clear conscious with the way I live? The answer is always I sleep like a baby. Actually since my mother's last sister died I can't be bothered with that side of the family. The fight over the will was enough to turn my stomach forever. Actually it was the fight over who is responsible for the debts of the dead. You want to see people disappear faster than a speeding bullet?

I wonder why people are the way they are. I mean my SIL is from a well off family, her parents bought them a house and both have jobs for her Dad. They get there vaction paid for 3 or 4 times a year. They really have no overhead. And they can buy us a $25 gift. Me on hand grow up in a trailer park still manage to pay my own bills, find a job(s) and still remember people who treat me like crap.

So crappy SIL just sent me an email saying that they can afford to buy gifts for us, because her family raised there limit for each gift at the last moment. Nice, classy, so they bought for her family but not his.

Yes. I was shocked to by the email, my DH was like what they hell. We will see what happens when they open the gifts I sent, more than likely nothing.

I am truly sorry to hear that your SIL treats you this way.

I guess there are all kinds of people in this world... Sometimes, I wish people are kinder, simpler and sweeter.
