Feeling real lousy as my own mom told me that hubby and I are parenting Ethan wrong... and she also said that she feels that Ethan is not a happy kid at all...
Doubt I will be extending my stay in Singapore at all... I am so going home next Sunday... *sigh*
Although I know it's typical of my mom, and this is expected of her, I still feel really hurt by it...

... but like you said all mothers are the same, they think only there way is the good way. and from what i can tell Ethan is a very happy baby 
enjoy the rest of your trip, and just forget what she said,
i know it will hard, but we all know the truth here , you're a great mommy

Of course, I understand your hurt - but if that is the way your mom is, then that's just the way she is. You know you can't change it, as much as you would like her to be different. A dragon is always going to be a dragon, you can't change it into a purring kitten, no matter what you do....

My mom has alzheimers so she really doesn't say anything but my dad is a pain in the butt about the kids so I ignore him. Times are different now and you also have a huge cultural difference to contend with.
Go home and be happy.
