I'm sorry to hear about your baby I know it is so painful right now but over time it really does get easier to cope with.

My family had a beautiful dog, part golden retriever part beagle many many yrs ago. She was a stray and we took her in and she was the best pet my family has ever had. She was my baby but she got sick after so many yrs and we had to have her put down. I still have her collar and I miss her but over time, the pain wasn't so great and i have tons of pictures of her to look at and remember those wonderful years together. I really believe you will get to that point too. It is just so raw right now.

I lost my Boo Boo kitty 10 years ago and have not had a cat since.

im sorry loosing a pet is like loosing a best freind 2 years ago i had to put down my ragdoll cat(8 years old)

I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. Pets become part of our family, its so painful to them go. I also had to take the painful decision to have my black lab put down. Although it was not easy, time mended my broken heart. She is in a better place now, watching over me.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had to put my cat of 15 years down last summer and it was the hardest thing I had been through, I don't have kids and my cats are my babies. It took me awhile but everyday was a little easier. I have to agree Hsooley having lots of pictures around really helped me.
