She ripped up my flyers!!!

Just wanted to brag about my first PMs at Zellers

But first my coupon shopping:
There were a ton of GLAD booklets, so I took 10.
I finally found the Cottonelle samples. There were 3 but only 1 of them had the sample still in it.
And at Fortinos they have a new chip display advertising B2S$1 on Ruffles, Tostitos, Doritos and dips. Stickers are on the bags like the last promo.
Found $1 off Pepsi MAX (12 case or two 2L bottles) LCL Stores only.


And my snack-attack shopping

Pepsi (6X710mL bottles) Zellers reg. 4.49 ~~ PM to No Frills = 1.97
Kool-Aid (10 bags) Zellers reg. 2.99 ~~ PM to Walmart = 1.47
Oreos (Big 550g bag) Zellers reg. 4.29 ~~ PM to Walmart = 1.97
Yogos (X2) Zellers reg. 3.19 ~~ PM to Price Chopper = 1.99
+ coupon for those B2S$1
Zellers Prices = $18.15!!
Total after PMs + coupon = $8.39 + taxes 0.96
Saved: $9.76
AND I didn't have to run around to 3 different stores

Yes, its true. Last week I pm'ed for the first time at Zellers and the cashier ripped out the item I was pm'ing and put it in her in her till.

The pop for $1.97 was a good deal this week. I pm'ed at WM.

Yep, I've had to keep flyers to prove price matches (when I worked retail). But I didn't rip them up, I politely asked if I could keep them or I would go out back and photocopy them.

Well, she didn't just rip into them. She said she had tear out each of the products.
At least today is Thursday and we get new ones tomorrow!

I am not sure about the rules of PMing. Even the same store, some cashiers cut the flyer, some just look at it and don't need a copy.

It's one of those hit and miss things. At the same LD I've had cashiers both ask to keep the flyer and offer it back to me. I think those that keep it are using it to PM for themselves! *lol* At WM they always take my flyer when I PM.

Smart idea to PM. I've only done it once at WM and they did the same thing-cut the ad out of the competitor's flyer. I really think we should get in the practice of PM more often. You got some good deals there. Thanks for sharing.

i have PM before and they normal ask if they can have it or not I say no cause im going to use it again later in the week, so they don't take it

that happened to me at Zellers too. My first PM and she asked for the flyer, I said no, then she said she has to tear that specific product out. Then I'm like, i want to keep the flyer for that product, if you're going to tear it out, then keep the flyer! So I gave it to her. Seems odd, because Walmart never had to tear anything...

I went today and they tried taking my flyer. The cashier was really nice about it tho and she ended up photocopying it (just so they had proof).

I PM at Zellers on Saturday and she didn't ask for the flyer to kepp the flyer or tear it up. strange.
