I don't have one myself but one of my neighbour's cats (4 he has) comes and stays in my house every day except when I'm on holidays - from 5am to 8pm!
I feed her, comb her hair, play with her just like I'm her owner.

I have 3 cats: Meeshu, Missy and Tash. I never picked any of them. My son got Missy from a Cat Shelter, Meeshu crawled in the window of my son's friend's sister and she couldn't have cats, I got Tash when that same friend's friend move to an apartment that didn't allow cats. So, when I moved out I got Meeshu and Missy and Tash I just got recently. Confusing huh? Suffice to say I somehow ended up with three cats. Meeshu is a medium-hair, domestic, Missy is a short-hair domestic and Tash is a Siamese. They are very spoiled. This is actually their apartment, I just pay the rent.

I am a proud, new cat owner!!! The newest addition to our family, Woodsy, is a 20+ lb, 7 year old, Bengal cat. He was given to us by a couple in Kelowna that just had a baby.
Oddly enough, the couple lived in Kelowna, where we just happened to be going to do our Registry shopping. I had seen the add in the newspaper a couple days ago, called, and he was still looking for a home!
He didn't have the best first day: while waiting for us in his cage in the car; he pooped, so we had to take him to a groomer because we couldn't drive home from Kelowna with the stench!!! Poor Woodsy, switching families, pooping in his cage, laying in it, being bathed and blow dried, driving in a car -which he hated...then coming home to a strange house.
He's a sweet and very friendly cat. And he'll certainly be able to kick all the other cats asses in the neighbourhood!!!

We have 3 fish tanks.
The large tank has some guppies, neon tetras, otos, snails and shrimp.
We have a small tank with a beta fish and the medium tank has some red minnows.

I've always had dogs. My favourite memory was with my Dalmation named Shamus. He loved company. A friend of my mom's loved to wear wigs many years ago. Shamus decided one day to take it off her!

BUMP! :D
I'd like to see more pictures of people's pets. I know Patti has cats, April07 has her horses, and I think Tidytaurus has a dog or two. Anyone else?
Here is my Cheshire:

We're not sure, but think he is a ragdoll cross. My sister and I rescued him about 12 years ago from some neighbours whose children were sticking lollipops to his fur and locking him in the garden shed.
Since he is older and doesn't get on with my boyfriend, he's living with my sister. In about a month I hope to find a new cat to bring into my home, from the MEOW foundation or ARF.
We also have a fish tank with an urchin (Pokey), a pipefsh (Jerkstore), an anemeneoemeneoeme, some snails and crabs, a cleaner shrimp (Oedipus), and 4 seahorses (which are in the nursury tank - not doing well
)

I have one shepherd. She is such a charmer, she has more visitors than I do, and they all bring her balls, and cookies. She even loves the mailman! I think she thinks that anyone who walks down the street is surely coming to play frisbee with her.

I have two cats. The one is 20lbs so I can sympathize. She was tiny when I got her though.
Favourite moment was when my other cat climbed uptop a tree and would not get down and was meowing. I called 911 asking them if they knew where to call to get my cat down, they did not know. So I called animal rescue and stuff, they wouldn't do it either. So my bf basically climbed the fence that was nearby and coaxed her into a recycle bin. What an ordeal. Not my "fav" moment, but a memorable one for sure.
Jacq - what happened to it in the picture where it was shaved down?Last edited by Justine; Tue, Jun 2nd, 2009 at 03:56 AM.
