Sorry. I added a referral link the other day & noticed that it was removed not knowing that we weren't aloud to do it the way I had done. I would have liked to have gotten a PM about it but then I discovered this thread & figured out the right way to do it...I think! Please let me know if what I have done below is acceptable.(I have never posted a referral link anywhere b4 other than used in my FB status) Again I am so sorry.

Unfortunately this is being reported constantly to the mods. This really is stretching our referral rules.
Regular fonts need to be used.

Please remember signatures should not have more then two referral links or external links and need to be in a regular sized font, not bolded or italicized. Commercial banners for PTC/GTP or referral sites are not permitted in signatures. If you are unsure of your signature, please pm a moderator and ask.
This needs to be fixed on peoples signatures by the end of the week or they will be removed manually on a case per case basis.Last edited by Sally888; Mon, May 21st, 2012 at 07:12reminder the above is a direct quote from another post...was having trouble with the link

I read this when I first join SC and reported some users, then I was told that the font, bold, and italics are not really an issue especially since so many users ignore this rule.
There are literally hundreds of SCs who don't follow referral rules. Are mods really wanting each of these users to be reported now? It is a pet peeve of mine too, but it just seems like a lot of work for the mods.
Also, is it the entire signature that should not be bolded, italics, etc, or just the link? Bold signatures appear everywhere on SC...Last edited by K8's Fate; Mon, Jun 11th, 2012 at 08:40 PM.

Were more lenient on the rules if its not annoying or a big deal. We don't want to be drill sargeants. However when I see a signature in bright bold colours by chance I do change it
I miss you emmy < In your signature is fine bolded. Its a statement.
Please no, dont report hundreds of signatures unless your sending me a timmies gift card to stock up on coffee for the day hahaLast edited by Sally888; Tue, Jun 12th, 2012 at 10:52 PM.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the reminder. It will serve also as a warning for me, to keep me from doing those.
