...in the same city have different policies on coupons?
I been going to the same sdm all week grabbing a few candles here( only about 6-7) and there along with buying other things and going to the post office as well, so I am spending money , not just grabbing free stuff, I went to a different sdm today, mailed out some things from the post office and decide to grab 2 candles, go to the checkout, present my coupons and they first say they won't accept them because the website url is not on the coupon, after I say I have used them at the other sdm location the same cashier says we don't even accept printed coupons at all.

SDM are independantly owned. Someone else mentioned awhile back that when they contacted head office about it, they were told each store can make up their own policy on coupons, or something to that effect.
Course we all know each cashier tends to make up their own policy!

I heard SDMs had their own policies because they're independantly owned. I was at 3 SDMs and 2 of them were happy to take my coupons and 1 was not. -_-
I Love you; not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.

actually the cashier told me the same thing. Big problems at one I went to trying to use a printible coupon. The had to call the "owner of the store" to see if they could use my printibles. Then they said they have to charge tax on the candle tins and they have to enter each candle as a separate transacation?? I got so frustrated after the first transaction I left my stuff on the counter and went to another sdm. They were treating me like they were dong me a BIG FAVOUR and it was comming out of their pocket. I tried to explain the manufacture will pay back but it was like I wanted to take $$ away from them. Left all my stuff there because I had a few motrin coupons to put through when they were on sale for 3.99 .. god knows what they were going to tell me about the 1.01 difference.

So, to the original poster, the same cashier was working at two different locations? I am confused.
SDM for me anyway, is really random with how they react when you try using coupons. It irritates me and I avoid using coupons there as much as I can, meaning, I don't shop there very often.

I went to a SDM in BC today and i shop at this one everyday and I tried to use printed coupons for Listerine $2 off and one for Tylenol Acetomiphen $2 off and they did not accept either. They told me we no longer accept coupons because of an incident earlier this year due to another customer abusing the system. She said one person ruined it for everyone else
