SDM sent me an email that said i would get 8000 b-day bonus points and free makeover...there's a printable coupon that the cashier has to scan and then i make my appointment. it's the first i've ever received one and i've been an optimum member for a long while...though i only got plus status earlier this year. don't know what else triggers it..maybe call them?
