the heat is so oppressive sometimes that we wander the malls just to get some exercise and
stay cool at the same time...it's a different lifestyle, no need to look for the sun, it finds you.

LOL - personally, I HATE shopping, so no way do I go out there, unless I absolutely have to.

here in the U.S. they don't do 'boxing day' ,black Friday is the big sale day
and of course Cyber Monday, small business Tuesday and any day it rains in Florida
is a shopping day. Shopping , consumerism, materialism ,whatever you call it, is a national obsession.
It's easy to get caught up especially when you have the attention span of a small woodland creature
and are mesmerized by shiny objects the way I am.

I know, I was really p!ssed off then too. I had seasons tickets back then. After they traded every1, I cancelled our subscription. Personally, I'm loyal to the 'TEAM' not the ownership. Could give a damn about Rogers, or the Sky Dome, but love the game, and players. I love the enthusiasm across the city. It's been a long time. They seem to have bonded the population, & that's fantastic. Go Jays Go.

I stopped watching baseball after the Jays won back to back world series and the players they had
stuck with bounced at the first opportunity to make the BIG bucks. No loyalty from them..none from me.
