I've been reading the brag section for a while now, but I've definitely noticed an increase in brags that tout "making money" by way of WM's new policy.

I can't really say anything that you haven't already said because I agree wholeheartedly with you. A brag should be about something new, or a genuine good deal where you buy something because you NEED it and you would have bought that amount anyway, but you got a great deal on it through smart shopping - not, as you said, going to WM and getting as many ziplocs as you can simply BECAUSE you can.

Thanks for the rep... I'm going to be honest, I just started reading the bragging section. Before, I thought it was basically for people who had London Drugs. Now that the new Walmart policy has come out, I look at it to see what kinds of deals people are getting here in Quebec.

But I can't take reading the brags anymore. Every brag is about buy 30 trial size Gillette, and 30 Ziploc boxes... etc. And everyone is encouraging it!!!!!! To me, that's not a brag. Bragging about a "deal" is when you spot something that people haven't seen yet. Or when you see an item on clearance AND have a coupon, so you get an awesome deal. Not just going out to Walmart and seeing who can buy more Ziplocs at one time...
