I saw your post about working with capital one. I just applied for a secured credit card and was told I need to send in $300 and that once that cleared I might be required to go to canada post for verification. Do you know why I would have to do this or if I have to do this? I have been out of the country for about 18 years and am trying to re establish my credit.
