  1. Hi Avon, I hope you are managing after the loss of your dear husband-a big adjustment I am sure. Thanks for asking-to be truthful I don't really know what happened but I did have an SI joint injury in 2004 and my physio and doctor think perhaps it never healed properly and finally that joint just kind of gave out supporting my back and I had continuous muscle spasms in my right leg and hip for about 5 weeks-not very pleasant. Really I could do almost nothing but pee and go to medical apts. I have been having injetions in my back and hip( prolotherapy) which seem to help and now I can do most things except work or walk far. I still have some pain but have cut down on the painkillers and hope to go off them soon. I hope to be back to normal by Sept.
  2. Lizzie, I have been "Missing in Action" a lot since my dh passed in January. I am just reading your posts. Sorry to hear you are hurting! How did you injure yourself, might I ask? Healing certainly is a long and frustrating process!
