    Cheers
  3. thanks mechman.. heres hopin.. but its all good if not..
  4. I don't have internet at home.. but I will have a look.. thank you so very much
  5. Definitely try it again without the filters. There is an air flow switch which will not allow it to light if it does not sense enough airflow. Most furnaces these days do not have pilot lights anymore, they use a spark plug type device.
As I mentioned previously they often have lights to indicate faults, these can usually be seen through the front panel. No need to take anything apart. There should be a chart to let you decipher the fault. Message me tonight if you can decipher the codes and I will try and help.
I was the engineering manager at Honeywell for years, we made the controls for many furnaces.
  6. Thank you for your concern..its not a new furnace nor a terribly old one..it was working, I wonder if it is not detecting the heat (or piot light) as it goes through the steps of "clicking" like it is trying to egnight but doesn't and then shuts down.
I wonder if there is some dirt somewhere..I will go home and take it apart again..otherwise I will have to wait for some help..
  7. Thanks for the reps, sorry to hear about your furnace, are you sure the filters are not clogged?
Most newer furnaces have a fault code system of blinking lights built in, have you checked the codes?
