  1. Thank you for the early am rep! I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
  2. Had that with Neil Young, only we could see him from the front and the large screens helped too! Atleast you got to go! How fortunate you are!
  3. The seats weren't that great, but actually not bad either. We were in the 300 level to the right of the stage (so it was a side-view) Michael B was on the floor below us a little to the left. He caused a bit of a stir, so you couldn't miss it It was good to be close to the stage, but we missed whatever could be seen from a face-on view of the stage. Awesome night regardless!
  4. How are you doing? Thank you for the rep. As I posted, I went to rep you and found myself in jail! I owe you! How are things at home? I hope going the way you want them!
  5. I met a woman last weekend. Quite over done. She is over 65 and does herslf up to look like Elizabeth Taylor.... She would look better if she chizzled off some of her makeup and byed her hair something other than jet black... Nice enough person... but
way over the top.... Maybe she doesn't have a decent mirror in her home?
  6. You're right. She's petite so that helps! I'll have to add a pic of her to my photos. I'll let ya know when it's there....
  7. Wow. Is she can get away with that... good for her. Some women can and do look younger without being foolish....
  8. LOL, no. She's 62 going on 22. Seriously! She still drinks, smokes and parties it up. She wears age "inappropriate" clothing like low riders with midriff tops and super high heels. She doesn't really hang with her friends her own age, as they want to 'slow down' and my Aunt doesn't want to act like an "old lady". So she hangs out with girls in their 40s instead
  9. Sounds like you had a grea time in spite is misplacing your aunt!
    Thanks for repping me!
  10. Thanks for the rep yesterday! Glad I was "your first" LMAO! Had no time last night to go online as my roommate didn't come home at a decent hour (as the garden is his domain being the "professional landscaper" dude) so I had to water the garden, top up the pond, feed the fish, cook the steaks I took out the night before (which he didn't have the courtesy to show up to eat I may add...) and then pack for my 'overnight' trip for Bon Jovi/Kid Rock. My Auntie (who's 62 going on 22) got an executive suite for us to party in pre-show and then to stay at after (as she's a party animal and didn't want to have to worry about getting home after the concert). Fingers crossed it's a "good, good, night"! I'm sure it will be.... Will try to do a round of reppin' at lunch.
  11. I hear you about the drama. Have had some friends whom I slowly moved them out of my life. I can always create my own drama.
  12. Thanks for the rep! Will get to my reppin' spree tonight! No, unfortunately the roommate sobered up and has been behaving and isn't leaving anytime soon it appears.

My goal is to get his butt out by October because regardless, I'm fed up with all the unnecessary drama! I say October because he owes me $270 for his Roger Waters ticket (in September) and if he is still behaving, I plan to collect! Otherwise, I'm selling his ticket!
  13. Yes it is actually here.. finally! TGIF. This week had dragged on for some reason!!!
Thank you for the rep and I hope your TGIF is just the way you want it!
  14. Our AC is set at 73/74. I put it up to 75 last night as I was cold. Do you have strong fans in your bathrooms? If so they are useful to remove warm air.
  15. I have central air. However even at 72 degrees was too hot, and I'm too cheap to turn the temp down lower. Eventually made it to sleep around one. Great tips though! Thanks!!!!
  16. Try taking a coll shower? I used to do that when I lived in an apartment with out AC.
I also drank gallons of ice water too!
I do hope you can sleep. Have you got a fan? have you considered a portable airconditioner? it is on wheeels and can go wherever you are ! Yoyu may be able to pick one up rather cheaply!
  17. You seem to have all you need to get yourself motivated. Good for you!!! Once I start going I compete with myself, only I can't seem to get therem yet! I will I Know it and I want to sooner than later, because for me, it is the only thing that aloows me to lose weight and remain fit! I kniow you will be successful! Thanks for sharing!
  18. I joined SnapFitness. Not enough time for me to go at lunch as I like to spend a half hour on the treadmill or bike and then spend at least another twenty minutes on some of the weight machines. Need to get rid of my arms that wave back at me . It's one of those pass-card 24-7 places which is great for me as I don't get home late and usually don't head out there until nine o'clockish. I find it's helping me sleep.

Getting away from my roommate is my key motivation at the moment. I enjoy the diversion out of the house as he's fallen back off the wagon. I find if I go visit "gym" he's usually in bed by the time I get home so it's a perfect way to avoid him.

However, I have bought a nice pair of Calvin Klein Jeans two sizes smaller than what I was. That's been a good motivator....I should be able to fit into them shortly. That, and looking at myself often in a three-way mirror helps keep me on track big-time!
  19. I do not usually do much either, however whn I lived in ottawa, I used to walk allover downtown around parliament hill and beyond... What gym did you join? I used t go and love ti over the lunch hour... all the business men instead of kids at night... and I hurt myself and have been trying to get myself back there.... perhaops you have some motivational ideas for me??
  20. nothing exciting really. Canada day will likley be spent at my Aunt's poolside drinking some bevvies and working on looking less pale. Friday I have a 'to-do' list a half mile long which will likely spill into Saturday. Sunday I have softball. Oh, and I plan to hit the gym everyday. I joined last week and while gym and I really don't like each other, I'm trying to give him a chance LOL!
  21. You are so silly. I like your posts and the jokes you have shared. My laptop is sick sio I am using my work system and do not have 1/2 my links to be creative with.
Any plans for the long weekend?
  22. thanks for the rep! while my posts aren't are creative as yours, I do try
  23. good advice, but he "doesn't do computers". A phone call will have to do! Have a good weekend my friend!
  24. You know at times I think yes back to being 20 or even 16- 20. I was a bit crazy, and now more subdued, though I still love dancing, and in my car I blast my music and dance too! That hasn't changed excpet for my daughter thinks I am nuts and I tell her, not to worry as she will be like this too as she gets a bit older... almost 16... lol I remember those days only too well.
I am and was happy to hear you had a great time and I think it was good that you got a bit hung over... Once in a while it is good for the soul Have a delightful time this weekend!
  25. Yes I was fully recovered from the concert buy Thursday. Need to lay off the booze a while though....too old to be hung over like that! Sometimes I wish I was in my 20's again....but then I think WHY??? LOL! Have a good weekend my friend!
  26. Thanks for the rep you gave me. I really want Friday here.... for some reason more this week than last...???? It's nearer than far...

  27. Thank you for the rep and I know you will have an awesome time at the concert!!!!
  28. How are you today? Did you have a good weekend? Mine flew by... and I never got to thank you for the reps! I appreciate them!
  29. Thank you very much GF. I do meet people where ever I go. I get that from my mom who at 83 next week still meets people where ever she goes.. Funny thing too, people come up to me where ever, or on the phone when I call for work and they tell me their life stories... I missed my calling... should have been a psychiatrist! My good friend tried to get me to go back to school and become one. She would have been my mentor as she is a shrink too. I had had enough of school by then and the thought of another 8 years... I appreciate your kind words Coco. I am sure you have no trouble meeting people either!
  30. Sister, I get the feeling you'd have a great time at the train station waiting for the red-eye to Montreal LOL! Love your spirit, you help keep us smilin' on here! Rock on girl!!!!
