HaHa I'll try to keep it short, when I talk about my trip I could talk forever.

Botswana (safari), Zambia, South Africa, Kenya & Rwanda (to see the mountain gorillas). It was the trip of a lifetime. I was on 22 flights alone getting around. LOL

Some friends of mine went to Mali as one of them have relatives there.

Although life is hard there, I found people to almost always have a smile even in the poorest areas.

I really hope to go back some day, keep on couponing to save up the $ LOL.

Where did you go in Africa? My husband is back home in Mali. I agree, once you go, you fall in love with it, even life is so hard there.

Too bad you couldn't make it. Not too many of the old gang, just Marmaduke and DanesMom, lots of newbies, but still fun.

Wish I was in Africa, was there for a month a few years back and fell in love with it.

I'm not sure...pretty busy these days as my DH is in Africa, so my kids would have to tag along. We'll see. I would love to see "the old gang".

Yeah, great deals on bread. Was there today and not as wide a selection, but they have had Dempster's oven fresh, Tortillas etc. I gave a fellow a couple of extra coupons and he almost kissed me. LOL
