Today I would have adored a me day..... only laundry got in the way, and a trip to Toronto to see my mother inlaw who is leaving on an around the world trip on Tuesday. She will be back May 1. She travels alone.... which is great. I have traveled alone had fabulous vacations.... granted I was not 84 at the time.

yesterday i didnt get home till 9 pm so i ate and basically went to bed, because of the weather i have too much work lined up, yeah my cell is working good but i am afraid to keep to many pics and stuff on it, thx, and i dont scare easily

this was a day from.. well you know, worked all day, deadlines and i did the worst jobs all day because i wouldnt ask any of them to do anything i wouldnt in this weather, needless to say between the sweat cuts and dirt i was fu**** then i went and picked up my neice and am just gettin back from the bar, shes 19, and its the first time i saw her in about 6 or 7 years. not a bad day

and mine is May....
I took a coolish shower last night... and kept the fan on the furnace running to move the air around.... I did about 5 loads of laundry yesterday and hung them on my clothes horse. No clothes line allowed here. from simply hanging the laundry out and bringing the dry stuff in, I was soaked.... sweat dripping down my face... .I should have had my bathing suit on instead of a t and shorts... How are you doing today?

its 5am and 26 degrees, fans wont keep up anymore, to make matters worse i had to shower whcih makes the place warmer, but i am the same hate this heat, sept is my favorite month

How soon?
I am thinking of buying a wading pool that will go up to my knees. Was supposed to get a hot tub, but other things more important came up to take my $$$.
Heat like this makes me cranky... and I do not sleep well in this heat which makes things
that much worse...

we do the same thing here, blinds closed and fans on but it finally caught up so tonight should be fun sleeping, i have to get back up north soon, try to do some swimming

Where my house is situated there is usually a breeze as we back on to everyone else's back yard. It is like an alley way for the wind.... I understand about apartment living and no a/c, One place I lived in, the hallways were air conditioned.... so many of us left our front door open for a little while at least. When I lived in Toronto, I had vertical blinds and it helped keep it a bit cooler.... only a bit. I have wooden shutters in my home and in the winter it keeps the cold out and now it keeps the cool in. What floor do you live on?
I installed a ceiling fan in my place in Toronto... If you lived out this way I would welcome you here for sure.

lol in this heat i am not sure, but sometimes just sitting on the front porch enjoying the view and the shade help, when i am up north its where i like my morning coffee or afternoon drink, looking down on the water

in public pool it would have to be water or juice.
