Nope. I use it on linoleum and hardwood floors and it cleans nicely. I use Mr. Clean floor cleaner in the refillable bottle.

Yup, I only use my Rubbermaid mop. The only drawback is the bottle sometimes doesn't stay in place, but the pad is really thick and goes in the washer and dryer great and it gives a pretty nice clean and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for cleaners or pads. If the pad gets wrecked eventually you can still buy new ones but they last a long time. I would say both mops are probably really close to being the same, but the Vileda one has the $5.00 off coupon now. I didn't have a coupon when I bought mine.

Thanks for the rep. I am considering both of those mops now...have to look at the the pros/cons. Is your rubbermaid mop the main one you use? The one I buy will be for my whole apartment.
