Thanks for your brainstorming and helpful hints I went in and scoured the place but ended up leaving empty handed. No good deals meant that I would be overpaying for things I could normally get for really cheap elsewhere. Wish someone else could have made use of the coupon, but I think it's attached to the optimum number...not sure though. On a positive note, I am now super excited for my Tuesday shop at RCSS - it's completely out of the way for me, but I'll justify it in order to use my great offers this week

It's a pretty decent one - save 10$ wus 30$ It's only good until today. I was thinking of doing the Lysol MIR, and use coupons to lessen the oop for the rest, but I don't see any good specials in store this week. I actually got a really great deal from PC plus - 1600 on Crest+scope products AND 5000 wus 25$ in HABA. I can do the Lysol no touch hand soap promo there too, since it's considered HABA. So I will be getting more bang for my buck there! This is why I'm torn on using SDM's coupon haha

Sorry! Just noticed your message today I think the cashiers can ask to be moved around. I have 2 locations that are about 10min away from each other. I happened to be checking out at one of them when I noticed a cashier from the other location chatting with the manager about shifts. I wish my transaction was a little longer so that I could keep eavesdropping for the rest of that conversation! From what I've seen, they have their regular employees and use extra staffers from the post office or the floor shelvers (?) when things get busy at the registers.

"My" store clears out stuff often....99c Turtles and Pot of Gold weeks ago, 25c xmas wrap....and I will go browse at another store and see the same chocolates for $3.99 or wrap for $1.99. And I know what you mean about that "certain" cashier. hee hee I have been running into those the last few visits, not sure what with the attitude lately. Normally they are great and I really love them. But I am seeing new faces, do they rotate from store to store? Do you know?
haha definitely appreciate your local SDM! There are 3 near me - #1 stopped their clearout section altogether about 3 years ago (said they got a memo from HQ to do so...umm, ok), #2 is a mini one without a dairy/bread section, so the stock is very low and things don't really get a chance to 'expire'. #3 is a bigger one with a refrigerated section (yay!) and they *sometimes* have a clearance shelf. Usually for holiday items, or just randomly when they go through their product lines and remove expired or discontinued items (wish I knew their schedule!). The only problem is a certain cashier who feels like she runs the place. Had I had her as a cashier, she would have given me 101 excuses as to why I could not use a coupon on a clearance item. So it's a bit of a "know when to shop" situation haha Anyway, long message just to say thanks for the rep
