  1. Yeah Quincy once swallowed an elastic band, thankfully he threw it up right away but because of that shelter cat we are so careful but he still got one - little brat. I think the mailman must have put it threw on the mail because I never bring them home
  2. thanks-I knew it could be dangerous but I didn't know it could be that bad. I quickly grabbed it from him when I noticed him snatching it. it's like he likes danger though-I have to keep a close eye on him. once he found a ribbon and had it half way down his throat before I got it away from him. that was scary! oh tape is another thing I have to be sure to keep away from him. my goodness he finds stuff no matter how careful I try to be. but I do keep a close eye on him knowing he likes to chew on certain things. lol
  3. I did, I posted a bunch in the RAOK week thread for people to use
  4. Thanks!!! What a wonderful message! did you design that? It is very pretty!
  5. Yep, we have an interesting bunch, an old guy I don't expect to have much longer who my BF got when he moved out, my first cat Bumper who hitched a ride home in the bumper of the truck, my feral and the horror I brought home last year to keep Autumn company. I don't know how intelligent some of them are, Bumper, although adorable, is as dumb as a bag of rocks. He will walk off the sofa without realising it ended and do that cartoon walk in the air thing LOL but definitely moody and fun

My Petsmart usually have a couple set up so you can see how they work, if not ask them to let you look at them and see, all of the major ones are very different. The filters are an extra, don't get sucked into spending Petsmart prices on them, it usually comes with a starter one and they are cheaper at PetValu and really cheap online. I usually buy the fountains in store and the filters online
  6. LOL your cats sound like a lot of fun! Cats are amazing aren't they? Felix is the first indoor cat I have ever had and I never knew how intelligent and fun they could be. Oh can't forget moody. lol Thanks for the info-I will be going in today so I thought it would be a great time to check out some of them. Thanks so much for the info!
  7. They seem to use them all, they just have a preference for one or the other. Autumn has never been one to cry for drips etc I think thats why she prefers the dome, it doesn't splash on her nose and its a little quieter (she was feral so she can still be nervous when eating etc and likes to listen/watch for Quincy who thinks his life purpose is to pounce on her when she isn't watching lol). But we have had lots of cats use all of them, here and in the shelter. The Hagen one they have at Petsmart and Pet Valu, I know they have the Freshflow ones at walmart, which pour down a ramp into a bowl - the drinkwell we got at Petsmart too I think.

For cleaning etc, the drinkwell is easier, but since Autumn prefers the Cat It, we keep it going too and they all drink from it. The only issue I have had with the Drinkwell is Quincy likes to splash water from the stream everywhere so I leave a towel under it so it doesn't ruin my floors
  8. Thanks! which one do you suggest? or is it something that I can get the one on sale and Felix will be ok with it? lol Did you get the Hagan one at Petsmart or something or do I have to go through an online thing? I would prefer to look at Petsmart or Walmart vs shopping online personally. Thanks sooooo much! I think you have made my life easier! lol Now to just watch for a sale!
  9. I would never go back to regular bowls now, we have several of them to suit the different cats, the boys like that one but Autumn likes this one: http:///c6HiS3 and we upgraded from the small one I showed you to the 360 for the boys to share: http://www.entirelypets.com/drinkwell360.html
  10. Thanks! I will keep my eye out for one. It would save me so much hassle every time he wants to drink from a stream of water. lol
