  1. aww thanks! yes the shot did help. it did become a bit of an ordeal because I passed out though. lol I tend to pass out with needles. lol I was forced to stay at least 1/2hr after the shot because I was so pale apparently but I think I am pale to begin with so it probably wasn't that bad. But I was grateful for it because I was having trouble sitting up the whole time. I am supposed to get a few because of what is causing the pain is something with the scar tissue along my spine and it's causing a ton of pain but it apparently will get better eventually. so every few months I have to go back for another one. at least it keeps the pain down that I can be up more. thanks again for the kind message!
  2. I hope that the shot helps you with the pain. I know it is very depressing to live with pain and I think and pray for you and Skippy every day. I miss your posts when you are not on so know when you are not feeling well and not able to come on line. Just know I am thinking of you and will send a cheer up message from time to time. (Hugs) Judy
  3. things are better-I got a spinal injection just over a week ago for all the pain I have been dealing with and it helped alot which is really nice. I am up a bit more again. I still have limits but I feel like I can continue getting better again. With all the extra pain the last few months I haven't been able to do much. Then today I did something stupid and fell on the ice so I am a bit sore from that. but it's not too bad. I am accident prone and the more I am up the more chance I have of falling. oh well. Thanks for asking how it's going! sorry it took me so long to respond.
  4. yeah sorry about that. I have been dealing with alot of pain with my back and haven't been able to be on here do to the pain. I just noticed you lost your sister and I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you must be going through right now and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve and get through this tough time.
  5. aww thanks! I did it in photobucket since I could not seem to get it on my siggie the other way. but I had to learn the hard way that I could not save the file with the name canada f l a g because I wasn't allowed to use it then. grr. oh well! lol
  6. your welcome. I remember it took awhile before I realized our dog was gone. I kept expecting her to come walking up to me or that we had to feed her. For a bit I would even get thoughts like shoot she has to go outside to do her stuff and then correct myself that she was gone. I don't know if sharing this helps or hurts but it does get easier. I still miss her alot but I can think about the happy memories of her now. I am here if you ever need someone to chat with.
  7. thanks for the rep and the kind words! hope you are doing good.
  8. thanks for the rep and no problem. Cancer is an awful thing to go through and I have lost a few relatives to it on my dad's side. I am sooo happy when someone can beat Cancer and feel for them having to go through the awful treatment. Keep us updated on her progress!
  9. Thanks! Happy Easter to you too! I love that picture of my kitty too! I have sooo many of him tho!
  10. Oh my what a cute cat picture...I just stopped in to wish you Happy Easter.
  11. totally fine. actually already forgotten. We all have our moments I think that we don't intend for something to come across a certian way. Winston said the weasel near them took care of the mole problem so maybe we could finally have the moles dealt with! lol As long as it doesn't eat our two squirrels tho but it can scare away the skunk as well if that is still around! lol
