  1. hahaha hey nothing wrong with big butts... more to hold on to LOL that song always makes me think of Donkey from Shrek, and then the original music video which is almost more funny then Donkey doing his impression!
  2. LMAO - You like big butts, too? I thought I was the only one! HAHAHAH!
  3. Hope you are enjoying it with family and friends!!! Bst wishes for 2012!
  4. congrats on being done your exams!!! Have a happy holidays!
  5. Thanks! It's going well so far! My peers are great, and as first years we're all kind of clumped together, so you get to know one another pretty well in a short span of time. Woop! Keep in touch, I definitely want to know how your progress goes with school!
  6. yeah money isn't everything but it does make it challenging sometimes eh? At this point I'ld go anywhere... but even down in the states its competitive at schools and also I have to think about and make sure it's a place that has a degree that will be recognized by the licensing board in Canada. We'll see what happens, life is full of surprises right?
And good luck to you! Hope your first year and remainder of the degree is as exciting as the first few weeks have been for you
  7. I hear ya, and that's what it really comes down to (money). And, you know it's such a shame for those who WANT higher education, and who have ambition - I know money isn't everything, but it sure as hell makes life/persuing an education a lot easier. I wish you the best of luck!
  8. I'm keeping an eye on these however, and also some places in the states but down there it's a DPT (so a doctorate) which is 3 years (min) and with it being international student $$ it's expensive. :S It's frustrating for sure
  9. I have looked out west... but here's the problem some schools have restrictions. I'm keeping my options open
  10. Have you thought about going to a Uni out West for Physio? Or are you wanting to say out East?
  11. Hey! I graduated from uni a few years ago... been working since then... Just getting back into it is a big decision.
  12. Hey,
    Thanks for the msg!!!!!

Another fellow Kin-folk - AWESOME! Two friends that I convo'd with got into Physio at the U of A this year - so far they are liking it!

As far as Nursing goes - I'm having the time of my life! It's great so far, however, the accelerated program is PRETTY intense (to say the least). Upon acceptance into the program I was offered the standard nursing program or the accelerated (I believe this was offered to early accepted students, but don't quote me on that), thus, I didn't ask to be placed in the accelerated program, it was offered to me and I took it...

How many years have you been out of school? And, is nursing weighing heavier as a better option for you, now, or are you going to attempt Physio a coupe more times?
  13. Hey saw your message about having taken a Kin degree in the general forum. I did my HK (human kinetics) degree and have been working for a few years now... How do you like nursing so far? Was it easy to ask your school to put you into the accelerated program since you already had your Kin degree? tia for the reply!
