"How did the .308 fall out of favour?"

I'm assuming that was not a rhetorical question, but why my own personal .308 fell out...

We can all blame Kim Campbell, when she was briefly in power, for initiating an "Order in Council" that banned certain firearms types. Mine was one, considered "easily modified" to full auto. So I got rid of it for what I paid for it... <sigh> Of course now, I'm kicking myself. I should just have kept quiet about it. Oh, well!
