Don't be too sad ... one of them bit my feet (hard!) all night last night and I woke up the the other one licking my lips like my tongue was a tuna. Kittens are disgusting!

You're right, eventually! Usually when I cook meat I end up making a salad and just eat that. It's just too much for me. Awww, my boyfriend had our cats before we met so I didn't get to see their kitten stage. Makes me sad! I love kittens

It's just a pain in the neck to make separate meals, you're right. They'll come around ...
I also have two cats, still babies, so they're super annoying little ankle biters but they too will come around.

LOL I like that. My boyfriend is slowly coming around to it. I still cook him meat because I can't expect him to go cold turkey like that, but he doesn't eat most dairy and he only eats meat maybe 6 times a week (down from almost every meal). It's been a bit of a struggle because lately I've been cooking him mostly what I eat. It's really hard to cook two meals with a small baby! BUT he's losing weight and feeling better, and things are -ahem- regular for him now, so he's warming up to it. I try to eat 80% raw food as well, and very little processed food. Boy, I can't tell you how great I feel compared to when I used to eat meat! It's amazing.

Thanks, but I'm not veg anymore. My husband does the cooking, so I eat meat or I eat dirt I have, at least, phased out "red" meats, and am starting to take over some of the cooking/food prep, adding avocado to sandwiches instead of cheese, delicious things like that. When I was single, it was a breeze to be vegan, but convincing a chef to stop using butter and bacon ... he might end up chewing my fingers off in his sleep.
