Biography:

Originally from New Brunswick, but raised south of Montreal, in the boonies near the US border, After six years of living in Saudi Arabia, I returned home with an Egyptian husband who spoke no French, (hence the move out West) and two adorable daughters whom are now 9 and ten.

I became a quadriplegic in 2009, shortly after my separation from my husband so, thanks (sarcastically speaking) to logistics, I'm pretty much stuck out here, as a move back to my family would cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Thankfully, I really like Edmonton and appreciate its accessibility which, from previous experience and travels throughout Canada, I consider to be unmatched by any community back East...so here I am to stay!

My interest in couponing and saving is rather new--both as a way of cutting down my living costs, and as a way of helping others. I live in a long-term-care facility, so aside from snack foods and personal hygienic products, my needs are taken care of, but these items (either freebies or good coupons) are great for helping out friends and members of the community whom are struggling to make ends meet.
