  1. Oh little one!!! What would the forum be without you?? your love and care and thoughtfulness kills me as soon as I think of Lynn49 or see a post, I smile and feel warm and fuzzy inside. Giving Small is a sweetie too and I was hoping that the members would also take a moment and thank the team leaders of SC for all they do but that went south fast. Like I wrote to another member, between what sounds good in my head and what comes out on my screen..eh..there loses something..all I can do is try..anyways how is my angel???feeling better? ready for Santa? is hubby doing some baking???I wanta-I wanta know..I miss you, going through stuff, won't bore ya..thank you for the REP dear friend and should we send a card to Tara? same place? what do you think? Have a good day little one, stay snuggly and warm. (hugs and snuggles)...
  2. Oh my dear...I wish I could take this terrible boo-boo away. Sending well wishes and positive thoughts as usual and glad you are still in touch on SC. PM anytime. I miss you too. Youre the sweet one. Have a beautiful weekend dear friend. (hugs and snuggles).
  3. Oh my dear angel, sitting on the all mightys' right hand side...I do not believe for a minute that you take anything for granted. Not a minute. You are the most precious, appreciative, truthful and honest and optomistic person I have ever met. I have been meaning to send you a note and see how you are doing. When you do something you are commited, even this booboo. Dear oh dear I did not knowit was that bad. I knew it was bad but...oh dear...I don't know what to write, think or say little angel. Our mommies certainly knew what they were doing and saying and in this case writing. You let yourself be taken care of like the queen that you are just like I know you have always done yourself and ask for help if needed and required. Are you getting therapy? homecare? cleaning? I am certain Jenny is just waiting for you to get better to show you around the trails to catch you up on what has been going on.
  4. You're so cute...your explanation of your Mom's card-signing post was bang on. Until I lost my ability to walk, to be even slightly mobile, even temporarily, I took that simple act for granted. Being completely helpless in the care of someone else is horrid; thank God my care-giver has been my wonderful, loving and compassionate hubby. I will not take walking nor my independence for granted again. Health really is everything!
I hope you have a lovely, sunny weekend, Hon!
  5. Hello, my Dear Heart, and thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers, they're much appreciated...truly. I continue to attempt to progress. Read: the stairs still terrify me, so I confine myself to the bedroom floor of our home, where I either sit in the recliner or my bed all day. The pain comes and goes, but I think it's improving...must be, I'm not reaching for the "big guns" drugs as often. I've missed so many beautiful days these past couple of weeks, so I should be attempting the stairs more often. Disney was wonderful, magical, with our Dd and her family..our grandson was in awe of it all.
I hope your pain of losing your little one hurts less each day..it's a slow process, and I did find it very cathartic, writing that poem for our Tammy; happy it brought you some comfort.
Enjoy your summer days, you deserve all good things, Sweetheart....huggles, Lynn
  6. too many caracters....again....only yours...
Take care little one and let me know how you are doing when you feel better. Huggs and Snuggles.
  7. You little lady...I saw your post about your boo-boo. Someone wanted to make certain that you took the summer off. I wanted to see how Disney was with your little man and your loved ones and how Jenny did while you were away. Oh dear, I hope you are doing better and so sorry I missed what was going on....You are in my prayers dear friend and wishing a speedy recovery and thinking of you fondly as always. Thank you as well for sharing your lovely poem about your little fallen-angel as mine had just fallen. I cried like I was never going stop...anyways I just wanted to thank you personaly for your lovely words and posts, they will always be treasured. On a lighter note I hope you have good drugs and lots of help and don't forget to ask for help. Couponing wise, if you miss anything, let me know and if I have it it is yours, hope you have someone that can use them for you, wish I were there to help...Oye-ya-yoye....
  8. man-I have been told 3 times..too long (read last please)
Maybe if you have a video cell phone to leave at her "on the lake chalet" you can video chat wih Jenny"..just a thought..I know..but ...oh just the thought of leaving her must make you sad..makes me sad just thinking about it for you..but she will be fine..Sweet Jenny, sweet Lynn aka mommy. Have a beautiful weekend too dear. Thank you for understanding...Disneyworld...lucky DAFFFY duck!!! (hugs/snuggles)..
  9. read other first please: I wish you and your little family a beautiful time and know it will be here in a moment so I will wish you now a fabulous time..I love Disney..so magical..Have you been before? if not let me know..I have a few pointers...(comfortable shoes, you can pre-register for the rides and attractions to plan your day ahead..needs a little explaining but the only advice if you need any is just have fun, forget about howyou are going to look like, what will people think and just let go..and have a blast..Try and get the fireworks at night (Beautiful..with the globe) this was 10 years ago..See Beauty and the Beast if they still do that..I might be mixing parks up..need to ask DH..it was just a magical time that we will never forget ..it was the best...Too bad Jenny can't go and take photos with Pluto and Minnie and all the other Characters but on the lake is nothing to sneeze at either... Boiled is an awesome idea- I might just keep that in my back pocket too.
  10. Awwwe, sweet Jenny...The life of a princess has many perks. No, boiled bags is an easy and attainable goal. Too cute.. (too dangerous)..my mother-in-law was 89 and she used that miicrowave to heat and defrost (the same as me)(a little ashamed to say)..me that is..the funniest thing was for 6 years, we also had my husbands' aunt with Alzheimers living with us and they were only 2 years apart and we had a flood in the house and decided to put the washer and dryer on the ground floor/ranch house..front loading..well it was like watch "The View"..the cup of teas and watching the washer do its thing... Whenever I do laundry...every day..I never miss a load and thinking of the two little sisters with their teas watching the machine. Even the cats I find them laying in front of the washer like watching Animal Kingdom. part 2...babbling too long..
  11. Oh, I hear you about furry angels; we're heading to Disneyworld with our DD, her DH and our grandson in early April and boarding wee Jenny with a very nice lady who she's stayed with before, in their lovely home. On tha lake. They just love having her. They do not, however, own a microwave (too dangerous, ya know...), and I always warm Jenny's food up (spoiled? nahhh...), mixing cooked ground beef into her soft dog food, then nuking it, so I'm trying to think of a way she can accomplish that, and all I can come up with, is if I combine her foods into freezer bag portions, then all she has to do is drop them into hot or boiling water to warm them up....lol...is that asking too much, do you think? I mean, I can also buy those little Caesar containers, 1/2 twice a day...no, one will still be cold. Back to the drawing board! I guess I'll just have to try that here to see if it works.
Have a beautiful day, Sweetheart! We also had rain all night into this morning...yay! Huggles, Lynn

  16. Good morning, Hon...no, that's not Jenny, but an exact duplicate...as purebreds they all look alike, so photos are interchangeable...lol!
