well my grandmother lived with my family but im not really close with most of my extended family. i never had much to do, for example, with my paternal cousins until my brother went to israel for school and they were( and stillare) always inviting him over for meals and to spend the sabbath. and speding time with him.
It's nice that you are that close, we are hours away from our extended family. My husbands family lives in Romania so we never see them.
ill visit her again over the weekend
Sweet.... I wish I could have spent more time with my Grandma before she got to the point she was in the hospital, but you just get so busy with life and your kids that you think your grandparents will be there forever for you to visit when you have time.
im still glad i went so she could see me. she gave me a kiss through the mask
I was lucky that when my grandma was at that stage she was too far away for me to visit. I get to remember her the way I want to.
it was just seeing her on a respirator. it was a shock to me
