Hey Lee, that is great your son comes to visit on the weekends. My son does too but for Sunday night steak dinner. He will never pass up a great BBQ. LOL. Food is just as good as a girlfriend. LOL. I was allowed to go to his rez room to help drop stuff off yesterday, something I have not been invited to do since the first day he moved in. OMG!!!!!! They sent us this long letter about how the students have to clean up the rooms and fridges cause the staff was coming in to vacuum and clean. I will grant him that he pick up his stuff from the floor but that's it. Yuck!! The floors were not vaccuum and it was disgusting! At least his roommate is the same. No Oscar & Felix situation going on there. LOL. Oh well, I agree with you, mess and all, it is still nicer to have them home. Cheers to a successful school finish, wishing your son the best in his endevours this semester.

lol... I feel the same way with my son... he goes back to school tomorrow since his first class is at 5:00 pm... He does most of his own grocery shopping when he gets to Oshawa, but he does take the odd thing from here..... most of his mess is just in his room and I've learned to "look away" (since I would much rather have him around messy as well....) The nice thing is that his girlfriend leaves close to us so he comes home every week-end to visit her, so we get to see him too!!

lol... it does seem like we are living parallel lives!! that's too funny....

Thanks for the rep. Yes - I think we will freeze... I'm hoping that with it being sunny it won't be so bad during the day. We have a portable heater that we can use with the generator for a little bit if we need to warm up in the evening and first thing in the morning.... I'll be packing my wool socks for sure!!

I have the BB torch, I believe, and I go to "media" then click on "voice notes recorder". After you make your recording go to "voice notes" and play it back. Trust me! You will be in stitches for days. I still have a stupid grin on my face thinking about it. It is so funny.

lol... you are totally right.... I have a big snoring machine of a husband!! If I could figure out how to record on my blackberry, I might just do it!! lol.... I'll ask my daughter for bb technical support when she comes home in a few days after exams!! Thanks so much for the idea!!

If memory serves me right, you have a snoring husband. LOL. I just discovered something and I think it is a scientific break through. I recorded my husband snoring on my Blackberry. Then when he was snoring I played it back and he nearly jumped out of his skin. Oh my god!! LMAO I nearly fell off the bed in stitches! So as I am typing he is having his precious nap and snoring away. I showed my son this scientific discovery and it happen again. The funny thing is, it does not get old. I crack myself up everytime! LOL. This is the only thing that has worked to cease the snoring temporarily. Try it! Oh and if I was wrong and you don't have a snoring husband, just ignore this.
