i bought 2 games already: hells kitchen and some airplane simulation one he picked out. both were $20 ea at zellers. i wanted the wi fit, cause i need to exercise so badly. another one i'm thinking of getting is the dance revolution one.

what is the recharable batteries for? the remote? cause the wii plugs in don't it?

I'm not sure about Wii Fit, but it doesn't seem too fun IMO. Information about the products is usually right on the box You can get rechargeable battery stands, but I recommend just getting the Duracell 15 minute chargers. You won't need to charge long or often, as Duracell has quality batteries...that's what I have learned to use They usually go on sale at Shopper's and I think that there was a coupon from Bransaver (if it hasn't expired yet)

i'll need helping with probably the extras that goes with it. for instance. the wiifit, does that come with everything u need? or do you have to buy stuff separate?

same with dancerevolution. you buy the game, does it come with the mat?

do you have to buy extra memory for it etc?

and something about battery rechargers..?

The wii is pretty simple. Is jr high middle school or high school? lol. BTW! WARNING! Make sure that your son doesn't become addicted to it. If this is his first gaming system, then it's likely that he will play instead of work. It kind of depends what kind of student your son is... never mind, lol. I'll gladly help you though if you need any help with the Wii.

yup! i had $30 in amazon.ca g/cs from that openmind thing, and when swagbucks came along, it was perfect. i only had to come up with half the money. so my mom chipped in a few bucks, and we're giving to my son for his grading present. he's going into jr high next year, kind of a big deal i guess, so we thought we'd do something a bit bigger than normal. i was afraid too, if i waited til xmas they'd be gone again.

i'm going to be ordering it probably thurs when my money clears (had to transfer out of paypal, they don't take it, can u imagine???).
