Thanks for the rep
Hi there Be careful with Reader's Digest. A family member or friend may have given you a year subscription for free with their renewal (I would definitely ask everyone I know) which is cool. But if you don't stop the subscription after the year, they keep will keep sending it and bill you. It's disguised as a service for so you have no interuptions in getting it, but really you have to be on the ball with them. I guess it's a real hassle trying to contact them for problems. They have all those wonderfully sounding contests, but you need to read everything. Mostly they are offering you a chance to enter, which is legit, but **with a chance to win extra money if you order something (like their special books). So always so NO to those if you don't want them, but should still be able to enter the main contest. My friend's mom got caught up in all that, getting stuff she really didn't want because she didn't read all the details!
