no, it's definitely not just you. if they chose to celebrate one person's birthday at the office, collectively as an office, they should celebrate everyone's birthday. --- like on the show, The Office! hehe (do you watch?)
Thanks, Lua. I feel so silly having such thoughts... I should be happy for her that she is happy, and I am. But at the same time, I cannot but help to wonder about the inconsistency of how such events are being celebrated at work here. I think it's actually a very sensitive issue, but maybe that is just me.
yes! one month earlier! i just remembered that bf and i are supposed to do dinner and Avatar with my brother and his fiancee that night, so i'll prob just book the day off and head into the city earlier and venture around the eaton center while i wait for bf to be done work. SO... providing nothing falls through, we should definitely get a coffee!
