There are a lot of really really nice folks here on SC, & I suggested to the ones on the Q thread that we have a picnic (so I get to try to arrange something). EVERYONE is welcome!

So, here are some options:
- picnic on Toronto Island (*not* Centre Island where the children`s area is with millions of people)
- picnic at the Beach(es)
- pub night (maybe the Hard Rock, home of the Q?)

Thinking a weekend works best for most folks
- Friday night
- Saturday
- Sunday

Dates
- June
- July
- August

I`ll put together a poll, once I have an idea of what dates can work for folks.

I can`t make a couple of weekends in June (12th & 19th - woohoo, I have a life!). If anyone has any ideas or dates they can`t make, please let me know. Oh & if we do have a picnic, I`ll bring the gentleman in my life along...on a leash, of course.

funnily enough I had just suggested this in the "what's for dinner?" thread I love the idea and am absolutely in for whatever date this thread decides, so long as I have no plans that day. the beaches sounds great and I think a saturday or sunday would be ideal. I have no doubt pubnight would be hilarious -- leave it up to us to redefine "picnic". :D

Hi everyone
I think the Hard rock cafe or an outdoor patio spot would be fun ,or a picnic,im game for either at least at a pub we wouldnt have to worry about lugging stuff around.
It would be a blast to just meet everyone

I made an executive decision - pub night at the Hard Rock, June 11, starting at 6pm (no end time, depending on how much fun we're having, we'll close the place down!).

Whoever can come will help me decide on the date for the next "picnic".

Hi, sorry I didn't comment earlier, was going to but thought there was lots of time! Sorry! Anyways, the Hard Rock is cool, its central and easy to get to. I said the Beaches rather than the Island not just because I live down here but because it would save carrying your stuff on the ferry and looking for a place to picnic there and there are stores near by if anybody needed anything (food, drinks etc.), plus theres a beach, boardwalk, lake etc.

Having said all that yes, I think I could come on the 11th!
