Ok I just called Sobey's Head Office...
Anyone with a Univ/College student ID whom shops at Sobeys will recv 10% off there bill when using a CS card with the student ID great for those parents who can take there kids shopping!!

Sweet! Is this a permanent policy or a promotion for back-to-school?
I have a student ID for my grad program, so I'm really hoping it's permanent.

I wish it was in all cities where there are colleges and uni's. It's not available for WLU Brantford students.

Sign in store yesterday said this discount was valid on certain days -- I have a bad memory but I think it was Tuesday, Wednesday's and Thursday's.

Which Sobeys locations are participating? I read that it's 16 stores, but I'm wondering if it's only ones near campuses?

Mine is participating. It is near UOIT/Durham College Campus in North Oshawa.

I won't hold my breath for the ones in the Ottawa area as they're quite far away from the university and college campuses (one Sobeys is in Kanata, the other's in Orleans). I mainly shop sobeys when I'm close to the stores and need some things quick or when I'm visiting family - lots of my kin are in the K-W and love the one on Weber St.
