It seems fitting that this happen during advent, the season of anticipating the hope, peace, joy and love of the Christmas Child.
After six months of looking for work, my partner has gotten a short work contract for a couple of months. It feels like such a weight has been taken off my shoulders. I can breath a little. Things will continue to be tight financially, but it means we can now pay our bills in a timely fashion. It is only a contract, but it is a relief, he has work. It also allows him to have something else to put on his resume. He starts on Monday.
This upcoming week is the week of Peace in the church season, thank you for finally giving me some peace.
I had to share this joy. Thank you to the folks on here who have helped out with coupons during these last tough months, and who have been keeping us in your thoughts. Thank you. This thread is currently associated with: N/ATry out the maven box by julep And code FREEFB, and get your box for one cent:

That's wonderful news; congratulations to you both! While Advent is the season of peace, hope and joy, it can be hard to get into the season when finances are tight. I hope that everything goes well with the contract and that things continue to go well in the new year, for job hunting and everything else!

Thank you. Yeah, we are going to continue with our strict budget, which means things like no Christmas tree, but it means that we can breathe. We can buy a treat or two when getting groceries, like a turkey.
I am so glad he has work. It was getting a little too tight paying the bills. It also gives us some time to plan for the future, does it mean staying in this area or moving to another where we can both work.Try out the maven box by julep And code FREEFB, and get your box for one cent:
