I don't usually like advent because I can't commit to opening or posting each day. I found the few Christmas Advent Trains I participating in a little too time consuming, don't get me wrong I LOVE to chat and post but I can't always do it every day BUT if that's what the majority wants.

Maybe we can do a poll?

I've hosted a Christmas in July train in the past but it was years ago and I know others have taken over and do things differently so I didn't want to step on any toes by hosting. I'm happy to host if it's needed or join as a rider. Either way I'd just like to see a bit more time to shop -- I really, really want to spoil my buddy!

I like the Christmas in July idea, opening one a day is hard for kiddo and myself. I also don't think I'd be able to commit to so many gifts, I can handle a handful lol but when you get up to 14 or 25, and possibly for two (as last year was one for adult and one for kid), well it would be out of my budget this year! So for myself, I think "regular" as opposed to advent would be good.

That does seem to be an issue lately... Hopefully we can get enough people interested in a July train.

I unfortunately will not be able to ride if it is an advent style train as I can not commit to that budget or posting everyday- summer is too busy

I hate that I wasn't able to join the current train. I would love to ride the next one but I can NOT do an advent train with so many gifts. I prefer to give a few bigger items and a handful of smaller items but I still cant give enough for an advent... plus I don't have the patience to open something everyday and hide it from the kids everyday. (because they will open and lose things everything if given the chance.)

much too early LOL the advent train is usually in November and the smaller xmas one late Nov
