Back in June/July, I played Lindt Savour the Flavour contest. Among other prizes, up for grabs were 20,000 Lindt FPCs. It was a daily contest but I skipped some days and didn't really keep track of my winnings. So when Mr. Mailman came by today, with a bulging Lindt envelope, needless to say, I was surprised to receive 30 (yes, 30!!!) FPCs.
I love chocolate, but even I can't imagine eating 30 bars by the time they expire. So other than giving full sized bars out for Halloween, I'm soliciting ideas. I know I can freeze them but that would be my last resort. Anyone have any good recipes using Lindt chocolate? This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Oh my gosh! That is such an amazing contest! If they have a long expiry I would have these on hand for Christmas, like bringing 3x packs to someone's house for dinner, or something like that.
But right now during berry season, I would melt down a couple packs in a double boiler or microwave and make chocolate dipped strawberries galore!
You could also chop them up, wrap them in puff pastry and bake for crunchy choco filled croissant type treats! These puffs also freeze well. You can just bake them from frozen.
I don't know if those suggestions use up enough chocolate, but they're making me hungry! So excited for your FPC's!

Your name reminds me of the Pot Of Gold chocolates, so the Lindt brand FPC's threw me a bit. I have no suggestions as to how to use up that chocolate other than to inhale it fast! lol!!!
No honestly, I would die if I ever got those FPC's , I cannot even trust myself around one of those Lindt bars, let alone 30!!
Congrats on a fabulous win!!

Oh my! I thought I did well because I won 3 bars, but 30 is amazing! If I had 30 bars, I would give some as Christmas gifts, that is, if there were any left by Christmas! Congrats!

Congratulations! I know it seems like a lot of chocolate but actually I would have no problem eating them all!! I don't know if anyone remembers the SDM Cadbury free chocolate deals last year, well I bought a lot (I'm to embarrassed to say how many!!).. I thought I would give them out for Halloween (I did give some..) but I ate most of them..you can never have to much chocolate...ENJOY!!

Chocolate lasts a long time (especially if you choose long expiry dates). I don't even think you would need to freeze them. Might you eat one bar a week? If so, you'd be through them in less than 8 months. Otherwise, they'll be fine to give at Christmas! You could also melt them or cut them up/shave them to use in Christmas baking. I've also found that large chocolate bars are also well-received as little thank you gifts at work for people who have helped you. Just include a little card. It's a small thing, but people are delighted.

Yummers! I would love to get a Lindt Chocolate Bar as a stocking stuffer or package topper or a wreath! I don't do a lot of baking but the baked ideas sound great! Wow!
