Eek! Husband didn't use the 20x coupon!

Alright, it might be silly, but my husband went this morning to pick up a new 3DS for a Christmas gift for our son because I can't until later. The only problem is, is that he didn't realize that I had a 20x point coupon to use with it as well. Do you think I can return it and then rebuy it with the coupon? Or maybe call them and see if they can add it on? I'd hate to lose out on that many points!

I can't imagine they could add it on to the purchase already made, but you should be able to return it (so long as it is not open) and repurchase it. It would definitely be worth it to go down.

If the personalized coupon was his, then I think they can do a Post purchase adjustment if you have the receipt. But the coupon is actually yours, so I think you either need to A. Return it and repurchase with your coupon. OR the Manager may could if he wished just do a Managerial points update.

what if the coupon was hers AND hubby used her optimum card for the transaction? lol - I'd just call and ask for the adjustment.. It's your offer and they can see that - so I don't think its a big deal..

Thanks everyone! I went the other night to return it and re-buy it and got my points! At least I assume I'll get them next month. I got a bit of eye-rolling, but they were nice enough.

Oh! And it was my card that my husband used, as he doesn't have one of his own. He doesn't appreciate points and a good coupon as much as I do!
