i like my new schedule better than my old job, where i started in the afternoon..... i would get up and just waste the day waiting to go to work in the afternoon

now that im working days, i get up and go... and finish work earlier and have the rest of the evening off to relax and enjoy.

Something was bugging my mind for many months, finally asked someone about it, got a few things clarified, and now know the grudge some people had were never directed toward me in the first place, which is contrary to what my abuser of many years had been telling me. One burden off my chest, how many more to go?

It has been extremely busy in my department the past month, but I can feel the load lightening up a bit. Its been the toughest time we've had (I even cancelled some planned leave to accommodate the additional workload), but our team "got-er-done!!" Im feeling pretty good about that!!!!

Oh, and DS is almost done with his final exams!!!! Hes gonna be home in less than a weeks time!!! I am super happy about that, I miss him when he is gone.

Dh and I electronically submitted our taxes last week. Dh got his direct deposit on Monday. My cheque arrived in the mail yesterday and they didn't mess up my graduate retention program portion, so I got a good amount of money back. This is the first time in 4yrs that I have not had to fight for this $2,000 portion of my tax return.

Great news! Hubby went to the orthopedist Friday to see if he should have hip replacements but Doc said not yet! Yay! Hubby needs both hips replaced eventualy but so far so good. Next appointment is in 6 months.

I went to sleep at 11pm last night and the alarm clock woke me up at 630 am - thank God I walked to work, the bus that was suppose to come at 722 whiz right by me at 715am

Had a big bonfire Sat. night with clear night and a bizillion stars. ALso saw the space station pass over which was pretty cool.

I dont know if I have shared this but my 2 kids (20 y/o DS and 18 y/o DD) are going to attend the same university in the fall!!!

my computer was so damn slow and lagging, i just turned the power OFF while still on
and the computer did the rest and found corrupted files
now it's moving fast!!
