I thought about a weekend QOTD.
Enjoy:
Should a teen’s Facebook page be linked to parent’s page, for safety reasons?
There is a viral video going around with millions of hits. A mother is angry that her 13 year old daughter posted suggestive selfies on Facebook. The 13 year old posted that she was 19. The mother has dealt with this teen’s actions three other times and seems to be at her wit’s end. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Some applaud the mother. Some are appalled by the mother's actions.

Yes, it should be linked. But unfortunately kids are using a lot more than facebook. I read a blog post from a high school teacher awhile ago that listed the sites that her students are using (She's young and her kids think she's cool, so she was able to obtain the info from them.) I had never even heard of many of them. She absolutely insisted that kids who are left on their own on the internet are NOT safe.
