    I tried to use my optimum card this afternoon and I could not log into my mobile app to have the cashier scan my card. Fortunately I had the actual card with me so I used that but I don't always carry both now that I know I can use my mobile phone instead of the actual card.

    So when I got home and the app (finally) loaded for me I pulled up my bar coded optimum card on the screen and took a screen shot of it.
    Now I will always have the card in my photos if the app itself won't load. No more worrying if I have the card with me if the app doesn't work.

    I do that with most of my phone cards, save them all in a folder - easier to pull them up

    I have my PC Plus card, Canadian Tire etc

    passbook is another app (i have an iphone) and all it does is store all your cards in one place (like a wallet)
    this is what mine looks like....just need to tap the store that you want to use the rewards card for

    Stocard is another app that allows you to load as many cards as you want. Very great app!

    Do most stores take a card on an app? I remember Shoppers would never. I am happy they will now. Will lighten my load in my wallet…lol

    Not really sure, but I imagine the stores that use the barcode rather than the magnetic strip would....pretty sure stores like Sally beauty wouldn't, because they swipe the card

    Edit: Although I could be wrong about Sally LOL I just uploaded that card onto Stocard
